Is it right for you?

A good fit if you…

  • Want to get on without swinging a leg over the frame: the top tube drops almost to the bottom bracket.
  • Are a shorter rider: the S/M frame fits riders from 5'0".
  • Ride paved paths and neighborhood streets at a relaxed pace: swept-back bars, a 250 mm wide saddle and an upright posture.
  • Need something you can still lift: 60.5 lb.

Look at something else if you…

  • Want suspension. The fork is rigid alloy and the seatpost has no travel — this is a pavement bike.
  • Expect fenders and a rear rack in the box. Both are sold separately for this model.
  • Plan to carry a passenger or heavy loads. 330 lb is the total limit, rider included.

What you get

Step through, not over

The frame drops to a low step-over point, so you can get on with both feet on the ground. It is 6061 aluminum with a gravity-cast front triangle, and the battery sits inside the down tube.

Swept-back bars, upright fit

620 mm swept-back bars with 38 mm of rise, a 60 mm adjustable stem and 649.3 mm of stack put you in an upright riding position.

Hydraulic discs, plus regen

Tektro HD-E3120 hydraulic discs with 180 mm rotors front and rear, and motor cut-off at the lever. Regenerative braking adds drag and puts a little charge back on descents and repeated stops.

A lock built into the rear hub

A lock is built into the rear hub, so the wheel will not turn when it is locked. The ACU system adds a motor e-lock, password protection, 4G and GPS tracking (first year of 4G included, then a paid subscription) and unusual-activity alerts.

Two sizes from 5'0", five colors

S/M fits 5'0" to 5'9" and Large fits 5'9" to 6'3", with 402.2 mm and 434.4 mm of reach. Colors: Glacier Mint, Sakura, Koi, Anvil and Lagoon.

Questions buyers ask

How far does it go on a charge?

Up to 75 miles from the 733 Wh battery. Higher assist, throttle use, hills, heavier loads and cold weather reduce range; regenerative braking puts a little back on stop-and-go routes and descents.

Is it Class 2 or Class 3?

It ships as Class 2: throttle and pedal assist to 20 mph. It can be set to Class 1 or Class 3; in Class 3, pedal assist reaches 28 mph. Several states restrict Class 3 on bike paths, so check your local rules before changing it.

Does it come with fenders and a rack?

No. A Pace 5 REC fender set and rear rack set are sold separately. The Level 4 REC includes both.

Is it comfortable on rough roads?

On smooth and broken pavement, the upright position, wide saddle and 2.1 in tires keep it comfortable. The fork is rigid and the seatpost has no suspension travel, so it is not built for gravel, roots or potholes at speed. For rough ground, see the Aventure 3.

Will it fit me?

The S/M frame fits 5'0" to 5'9" with 402.2 mm of reach. The Large fits 5'9" to 6'3" with 434.4 mm of reach. Stack is 649.3 mm on both, and the stem adjusts, so bar height can be tuned.

How secure is it when parked?

A lock is built into the rear hub, and the ACU system can lock the motor from the app, with password protection. It reports GPS location over 4G and flags unusual activity. Use a proper lock and a solid anchor as well.

Riding rules, delivery and returns

Where am I allowed to ride it?

Your state and city decide, by class. Class 1 assists only while you pedal, to 20 mph. Class 2 adds a throttle, also to 20 mph. Class 3 assists pedalling to 28 mph and is restricted or banned on bike paths in several states. Many trail systems allow Class 1 only. Check the rules where you ride before you raise the speed setting.

How is an e-bike delivered?

Shipping is free to US addresses. Orders leave our warehouse in North Chicago, IL within 0 to 2 business days and arrive 5 to 8 business days after dispatch. You get a tracking link by email as soon as the carrier scans your order. Your order may arrive in separate boxes rather than one package.

How do returns work?

Email support@pallmilla.com with your order number within 30 days of delivery and we will confirm your return and send instructions. Return shipping is on us, with no restocking fee. Refunds go back to your original payment method.

Can I pay in installments?

If your order is eligible, you will see Shop Pay Installments or Klarna as payment options at checkout.

How do I reach you?
