The Velotric Discover 2 is a commuter e-bike with a 48 V, 750 W rear hub motor, 75 Nm of torque and a 705.6 Wh battery. Range is up to 75 miles on pedal assist and 60 miles on throttle, with a 440 lb maximum load. It weighs 63 lb, and fenders, a rear rack, a suspension fork and lights come fitted.
Fenders, a rear rack, a kickstand, a light-sensing 130 lux headlight and a rear light are all fitted. The fenders are full-coverage aluminum.

The rear rack is aluminum with MIK HD mounts for clip-on bags and child seats, rated for 66 lb. The tail light is built into the rack, with a brake indicator, turn signals and steady or flash modes.

Torque sensing gives more help the harder you push. Cadence sensing holds a steady speed with little effort. SensorSwap switches between them in the app, with three riding modes across five assist levels.

The battery uses 21700 cells, is IPX7 water resistant and UL 2271 certified, and comes out for indoor charging. Range is up to 75 miles on pedal assist and 60 miles on throttle alone, based on a 187 lb rider in the lowest assist level.

Two frame sizes fit riders from 4'11" to 6'4". The bike is rated to 440 lb including the rider, with 66 lb on the rack.

Up to 75 miles on pedal assist and 60 miles on throttle, based on a 187 lb rider in the lowest assist level on flat roads. Higher assist, hills, heavier loads and cold weather reduce range.
It switches between two ways of sensing your pedalling. Cadence mode holds a steady speed with very little effort, suited to flat commuting. Torque mode responds to how hard you push, like a normal bike on hills and longer rides. You change it in the app.
Yes. It ships at 20 mph and the settings allow 12 to 28 mph, with Class 1, 2 and 3 switching. Whether you may use those settings depends on your state and city, and a 28 mph Class 3 bike is not legal on every path. Check the rules where you ride before changing it.
Both, fitted at the factory. The fenders are full-coverage aluminum and the rack is aluminum with MIK HD mounts and a 66 lb rating. The rear light is built into the rack and includes a brake indicator and turn signals.
It weighs 63 lb. Total load is 440 lb including the rider, and the rack holds 66 lb.
On packed gravel and towpaths, the 2.4 in Kenda tires and 80 mm of fork travel with lockout handle it. For sand, snow or rocky trails, a fat-tire e-bike such as the Aventure 3 is the better fit.

Your state and city decide, by class. Class 1 assists only while you pedal, to 20 mph. Class 2 adds a throttle, also to 20 mph. Class 3 assists pedalling to 28 mph and is restricted or banned on bike paths in several states. Many trail systems allow Class 1 only. Check the rules where you ride before you raise the speed setting.
